All our shoes are crafted from premium quality calf or cow leather, including the uppers, lining, and soles.
– Use Shoe Trees: Properly fitting shoe trees are essential for maintaining the original shape of your shoes and preventing curling and deep creases. The best time to use them is one to two hours after you’ve removed the shoes from your feet. After that, the shoes will have returned to their natural shape, and the trees can be removed.
– Rotate Your Shoes: Alternating the shoes you wear daily is important. Regular rotation gives them adequate time to dry and increases their lifespan.
– Clean the Surface: Use a horsehair brush or microfiber cloth to wipe down your shoes and remove dirt and stains.
– Treat Heavy Stains: For stubborn stains like wine or oil, you may need to use a leather cleaner. Be cautious with strong cleaners as they can strip the color from the leather. If unsure, consult a local repair expert.
– Wet the Welt: Use a welt brush and water to scrub out the entire welt strip.
– Apply Polish: Using a cotton cloth, apply a small amount of polish cream (we recommend SAPHIR) and water drops to the leather in small circular strokes. Let the polish dry for about 30 minutes.
– Buff the Shoes: Use a polishing brush to buff the entire shoe. For extra shine, buff the toe vigorously with a lint-free cloth.
– Avoid Inclement Weather: We strongly advise against wearing our shoes in rainy or harsh conditions. Exposure to water or salt can distort the leather and hand-dyed patina. If the leather sole becomes wet, it is more vulnerable to damage. Adding a rubber sole is optional but not necessary.
– Be Cautious with Alcohol Products: Products containing alcohol, like hand sanitizers, can strip dye from the leather in seconds, causing severe discoloration. If this occurs, the shoe may need to be re-dyed entirely.
– Return Period: If you have issues with sizing or any other dissatisfaction, you have 30 days from the date of delivery to return the product.
– Customized Products: Special Patina Shoes, which are fully customized and personalized, are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
– Condition for Returns: The product must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition it arrived, including the original packaging (Tha Manuel box, cloth bags, and shoehorn). If you received a free gift with your purchase, it must also be returned. If the original box is not in good condition, use a suitable box of similar size and shape for transport.
– Return Process: All returns must be sent to our Central Office within 30 days of the original purchase. The purchaser is responsible for the return shipping costs, except in cases of manufacturing defects, where Tha Manuel will cover the return shipping costs.
– Refunds: Once we receive the returned items in good condition, we will refund the purchase price to the same credit card or bank account used for the original payment.
– Exchange Policy: For exchanges, the purchaser is responsible for the shipping costs to return the items. Once we receive the returned item(s), we will send out the new model or size at our expense, with an expected wait time of around 10 working days.
– Initial Shipping Costs: The purchaser will not be reimbursed for the initial shipping costs in any case.
